Senior Draftsman - Structural

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural shop drawings based on IFC drawings and design specifications
• Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP disciplines to prevent clashes
• Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing
• Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings accordingly
• Support the submission process for approvals and respond to technical queries
• Assist site teams with drawing clarifications and updates
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience within a contracting environment in the UAE
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of structural detailing and reinforcement drawings
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing packages

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Revit Structure
