Senior Dosimetrist

Responsibilities

• Plan and calculate accurate radiation treatment doses for cancer patients
• Ensure optimal treatment delivery while minimizing exposure to healthy tissues
• Utilize advanced radiotherapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiographers, and medical physicists to develop personalized plans
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Contribute to workflow optimization and protocol development

Requirements

• BSc in Radiotherapy, Medical Physics, or a relevant field
• Significant experience in radiotherapy treatment planning and dosimetry
• Proficiency with Eclipse, Monaco, or RayStation treatment planning systems
• Strong understanding of IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT
• HCPC registration or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and radiation safety guidelines
