About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver precise radiation treatment plans for patients undergoing radiotherapy
- Collaborate with clinical oncologists, radiographers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Create and optimize dosimetry plans
- Perform quality assurance checks
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Utilize Eclipse for planning prostates, breast, and other sites
- Perform SRS and SABR planning
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Medical Physics, Radiotherapy, or related field
- Certification in Dosimetry or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Registration with the HCPC or applicable professional body
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Dosimetrist
- Proficiency in Eclipse, Pinnacle, or RayStation
- Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety protocols
