Senior Distribution Strategist

Responsibilities

• Lead off-platform distribution strategy across social, syndication, and emerging platforms
• Serve as the primary editorial partner to the Business Development team on syndication and revenue opportunities
• Establish a unified framework for evaluating platform ROI and resource allocation
• Oversee distribution performance across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Apple News, Yahoo, MSN, and SmartNews
• Drive platform-specific content optimization for stories, video, newsletters, and short-form content
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for off-platform performance and audience growth
• Integrate AI tools into distribution workflows to enhance content packaging and scale presence

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in media distribution strategies
• Strong commercial instincts and experience supporting audience and revenue growth
• Deep understanding of social, syndication, and emerging platform ecosystems
• Strong data fluency and experience translating analytics into actionable strategy
• Excellent editorial judgment and understanding of journalism packaging
• Experience managing cross-functional workflows across editorial, video, and business teams
