Senior Distribution Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute labor, supplies, and equipment requirements to meet financial, safety, and productivity targets
• Manage communication across the supply chain, partnering with Customer Service, Segment Planning, and HR
• Lead and mentor a management team, overseeing a facility with approximately 300-400 hourly roles
• Make sound, independent decisions to manage dynamic circumstances and seasonal demand changes
• Assess distribution processes for application feasibility and use real-time analytics to optimize automation and building flows
• Manage supervisors and managers within the distribution area to ensure operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Logistics or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in progressively responsible logistics roles
• 7+ years of experience in a relevant project management environment
• Proven experience with budgeting and productivity management
• Proficiency with PkMS and SAP systems
• Experience with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or other Operational Excellence methodologies
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods
