About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse dedicated or mixed client environments
  • Lead collaborative discussions between departments and key stakeholders to determine automation feasibility
  • Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation
  • Develop layouts, capacity, equipment, and validation plans (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Perform comprehensive engineering analytics, including data collection, forecasting, and system reviews
  • Assist with training and developing engineering staff through on-the-job training and feedback
  • Prepare presentations for senior management regarding project recommendations and studies
  • Lead the development of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and contract materials
  • Identify and deliver on project milestones while removing complex obstacles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Automation, Robotics, or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering and implementations
  • Experience with automation technologies including AMRs, AGVs, robotic arms, conveyance, and scanners
  • Knowledge of healthcare logistics, including cold chain, controlled substances, and dangerous goods
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Teams, etc.) and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of IT systems such as WMS, WES, and WCS design and functionality
  • Strong understanding of project planning, implementation objectives, and financial calculations
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
