Senior Director/VP, AI

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a high-calibre team of AI engineers and researchers, owning hiring and performance.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of autonomous AI Agent products from architecture to production.
• Establish benchmark-driven evaluation frameworks to ensure quantifiable quality across agent systems.
• Design and implement Agent Harness infrastructure to ensure stability and reliability in real-world scenarios.
• Orchestrate LLM reasoning steps alongside deterministic guardrails to balance flexibility and control.
• Embed AI Agent capabilities into core products and engineering pipelines to drive business value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to align technical direction with strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML research, productization, or platform development.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Proven track record of delivering autonomous AI Agent products from inception to production.
• Experience integrating AI into engineering workflows, such as coding assistants or automated review tools.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English to collaborate across multilingual, cross-regional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background at an AI-native startup or frontier AI lab.
• AI publications, patents, or industry-recognized technical contributions.
• Familiarity with applying AI in crypto, fintech, or high-frequency data environments.
