Senior Director, Test & Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a unified global strategy for test and product engineering.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, including silicon bring-up, qualification, yield ramp, and sustaining operations.
• Drive yield improvement and cost optimization through test efficiency and manufacturing performance.
• Lead the development and deployment of wafer sort, final test, and characterization solutions.
• Manage ATE platform standardization and drive test time reduction for high-volume manufacturing.
• Resolve yield excursions, test escapes, and customer returns in partnership with Quality and Reliability teams.
• Manage departmental budget, headcount, and capital planning.
• Build and develop a high-performing global organization through strategic hiring and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of semiconductor experience in test and/or product engineering.
• Proven experience leading global engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in power semiconductors (Si, SiC, GaN, modules, or power ICs).
• Demonstrated track record in yield ramp, cost optimization, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of ATE, characterization, and yield analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data center power architectures (AC-DC, DC-DC).
• Familiarity with power module packaging, thermal behavior, and high-current test methods.
• Expertise in statistical yield analysis and reliability/qualification methodologies.
• Experience with test automation and data analytics in manufacturing environments.
