Senior Director, Technical Services

Responsibilities

• Lead and transform the regional Technical Services organization across North and Latin America, overseeing field service and seven depot operations.
• Define and execute the regional Technical Services strategy to drive growth, margin expansion, and competitive differentiation.
• Manage a large-scale, diverse team of approximately 450 employees, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence through disciplined management of KPIs, including service levels, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Oversee a significant revenue-generating business with annual targets of approximately $150M USD.
• Partner with regional General Managers and Commercial leaders to align service priorities with business strategy and customer needs.
• Manage the regional operating budget with strong financial discipline.

Requirements

• 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, medtech, or life sciences.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, complex service organizations across multiple geographies.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, service profitability, and performance improvement.
• Experience operating effectively within a matrixed, international environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30%.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage at the executive level.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or an advanced degree.
• Experience in a private equity-backed or transformation-stage organization.
• Background in kidney care, dialysis, critical care, or organ support therapies.
