Senior Director - Tech PE Value Creation

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects, including scoping, planning, and driving results in high-pressure environments.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Consultants, Senior Associates, and Directors to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
• Manage structured analysis to identify root causes and develop data-backed recommendations across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, and operations.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate complex insights in a clear, compelling manner.
• Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps, often serving in hands-on interim leadership or PMO roles.
• Contribute to the growth of the PEVC practice through IP development, recruiting, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 8 years of related work experience (or 7 years with a graduate degree).
• Proven experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel-based modeling, operational diagnostics, and strategic frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours as required by client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA from a top-rated business school.
• Direct experience working with private equity sponsors or PE-backed portfolio companies.
• Sector expertise in TMT, specifically with B2B SaaS business models.
• Knowledge of leveraging AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, in a business setting.
