Senior Director - Strategic Sourcing Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee strategic sourcing and contracting activities across the External Manufacturing network in alignment with category strategies.
• Translate category strategies into actionable sourcing plans, RFx activities, negotiations, and contract outcomes.
• Own the delivery of annual sourcing value and savings commitments aligned to Finance targets and business plans.
• Lead supplier engagement, including commercial discussions, negotiations, and ensuring contracts meet regulatory and risk standards.
• Partner with External Manufacturing and Business Development stakeholders to communicate priorities and support strategic initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Strategic Sourcing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate sourcing-related supply risks to ensure business continuity and operational resilience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing and contracting teams, preferably in External Manufacturing or regulated industries.
• Working knowledge of sourcing practices within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience delivering sourcing value and managing savings commitments.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years, OR Associate’s degree with 12+ years.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
