Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the overall strategic sourcing strategy across all commodity groups to align with corporate objectives and product roadmaps.
• Lead RFx processes, competitive bidding, and should-cost analysis in partnership with R&D to establish procurement target costs.
• Drive annual net cost savings programs through negotiation, specification optimization, and supply base rationalization.
• Establish and lead a CM Steering Committee to govern performance, capacity, and strategic alignment with key contract manufacturing partners.
• Negotiate and execute complex supply agreements, MSAs, and SOWs with global manufacturers and critical component suppliers.
• Lead geopolitical supply chain risk programs, including de-risking efforts, tariff mitigation, and alternate source qualification.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sourcing organization, including recruiting and succession planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience, including senior-level roles.
• Proven success in developing sourcing strategies and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Deep experience managing supplier and contract manufacturer relationships in complex hardware or electromechanical environments.
• Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and payment terms strategy.
• Experience leading RFx processes, competitive bidding, and should-cost analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications.
• Familiarity with sourcing systems, analytics tools, and ERP environments (experience with D365 is a plus).
• Experience working with emerging AI-enabled tools for supply chain management.
