Senior Director Strategic Planning

Responsibilities

• Support the annual R&DS strategic planning cycle and corporate governance activities.
• Lead business intelligence efforts, including market assessments, segment sizing, growth estimates, and competitor analysis.
• Drive strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and developing robust business cases.
• Support M&A and collaboration activities through opportunity scans, outreach, and financial assessments.
• Deliver assigned projects according to established timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, life sciences, or engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, market insights, business intelligence, or business development.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process and its key stakeholders.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience within the life sciences industry or a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
• Background in management consulting.
• Experience working within an international team environment.
