Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision and strategy for a key product area aligning with Calendly’s goals and priorities
• Support and mentor a team of managers and engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching on their career development
• Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies that enhance customer-facing products and user experiences
• Deliver a high-quality, dependable product experience that meets customer expectations and scales with business growth
• Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations
• Drive continuous improvement in how teams build and ship customer-facing features

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 10+ years in a leadership role
• Experience building and scaling an AI-first engineering organization
• Experience leading high-performance engineering teams
• Experience building highly-available distributed back-end systems
• Experience leveraging modern cloud technologies for scalable products
• Experience in both high-growth startups and established organizations
• Ability to work in the San Francisco office 2 days per week
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
