Senior Director, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term technical vision for Bevi's software platform, including embedded OS, Android applications, backend services, and fleet intelligence
• Define and lead the AI strategy, including AI-native product capabilities and AI tooling for engineering teams
• Set architectural standards and long-range platform vision to support global scaling of connected devices
• Lead and scale a high-performing software engineering organization, developing leaders and attracting top talent
• Partner with Product, Hardware, and Operations teams to drive cross-functional alignment and roadmap execution

Requirements

• 10+ years building and scaling software or IoT products
• 7+ years in senior engineering leadership roles
• Proven track record of owning technical strategy and roadmap direction
• Demonstrated experience in AI leadership and driving AI adoption
• Strong architectural instincts for long-range platform decisions
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Experience developing engineering managers and high-performing teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
