Senior Director, Security Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evolve a comprehensive threat hunting, event analysis, and incident response capability.
• Perform detailed and complex analysis tasks, including malware analysis.
• Provide technical leadership for all relevant information security platforms and serve as the final escalation point for incident response.
• Oversee the administration of the firm’s SIEM and other relevant security technology platforms.
• Lead the response to and containment of information security-related incidents.
• Manage and curate both human and machine-readable threat intelligence.
• Partner with IT managers to develop best practices and policies for internal system security.
• Play a primary role in the selection, installation, and configuration of new information security technologies.

Requirements

• University Degree in a technology-related discipline or 4 years of relevant experience.
• CISSP certification is required.
• At least two of the following certifications: CISM, CSX-P, GIAC GREM, OSCP, or GIAC GCIH.
• 1-3 years of experience leading and managing information security professionals.
• 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role dedicated to incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, or event analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of DFIR tools and techniques and packet analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM and data analytic concepts, including extracting and manipulating diverse data sets.
• Proven ability to communicate technical implications to non-technical users and write clear executive summaries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in a cybersecurity discipline.
