Senior Director, Research and Development

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D strategy and execution for Home Environment and Non-Robotic Floorcare categories
• Translate strategic direction into actionable R&D roadmaps and deliverables
• Oversee the R&D portfolio, ensuring appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and delivery
• Drive execution discipline to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality targets
• Lead research efforts to identify emerging technologies, materials, and system capabilities
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Supply Chain
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global R&D organization
• Identify and manage technical and execution risks across programs

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Engineering/R&D with leadership responsibility
• Proven experience delivering consumer products from concept through commercialization
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Ability to translate strategy into execution in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Experience with performance-driven systems such as airflow or motors is preferred
