Senior Director, Real Estate Strategy & Acquisitions

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CREO to structure and execute complex capital transactions, including Joint Ventures (JV), programmatic platforms, and institutional real estate partnerships
• Serve as a lead negotiator on sophisticated lease agreements and land acquisitions
• Support the CREO in securing and managing lender financings and prepare investment committee materials
• Represent the Office of the CREO in internal and external forums to drive deal velocity
• Conduct deep-dive underwriting and sensitivity analysis on complex deal structures
• Monitor the health and compliance of existing JV and financing arrangements

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in real estate finance, acquisitions, or capital markets
• Proven track record of facilitating 9-figure transactions involving JV structures or project finance
• Proficiency in navigating PSAs, JV operating agreements, and loan documents
• Mastery of financial modeling
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, CA 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Data Center, Energy Infrastructure, or Industrial REITs
• Prior experience at a top-tier private equity firm, investment bank, or real estate operator
• Advanced credentials such as JD, MBA, or MS in Real Estate Development
