Senior Director, Quantitative Pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quantitative Pharmacology group within the Translational Medicine group to oversee drug development aspects related to clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics.
• Provide leadership on pharmacokinetic aspects of clinical trials and their application in development strategy.
• Drive the implementation of pharmacometric principles and practices across the development division.
• Develop and execute model-based analyses, including translational PK/PD approaches, population PK models, exposure-response models, and QSP modeling.
• Provide pharmacometric support for worldwide marketing application filings, including registration documents and presentations.
• Interface with key functions such as discovery sciences, preclinical development, toxicology, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff to support their professional career development.

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative science (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, physics, or computer science).
• 5+ years of postdoctoral experience in quantitative pharmacology or pharmacometrics within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive experience in population PK modeling and exposure-response modeling.
• Proven track record in clinical research and a strong background in biomedical research.
• Demonstrated ability to develop statistical and mechanistic models for drug development.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
