Senior Director, Product - Live Game

Responsibilities

• Lead the Live Game Organization, overseeing event design, in-game content, economy health, and seasonal frameworks
• Define and deliver long-term strategy for engagement, retention, and monetization
• Drive operational excellence by building scalable processes for global live events and content updates
• Collaborate with The Pokémon Company on brand alignment and IP integration
• Champion the player experience by advocating for game balance and fun
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary global team of Producers and Product Managers
• Track and report on business health KPIs to executive leadership
• Identify innovative ways to keep the game fresh and socially relevant

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in live service game development
• 5+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role for large-scale global titles
• Proven success managing complex, cross-functional teams in live service environments
• Deep understanding of player engagement loops, economy management, and event-driven retention
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data for decision making
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for Pokémon and Scopely's mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with major IP partners
• Fluency in Japanese
