Senior Director, Physical Security, Risk, and Business Management

Responsibilities

• Shape the strategic direction of the Safety and Security function for the LA28 Organizing Committee
• Develop comprehensive plans for public safety, law enforcement, and community engagement
• Serve as Principal Deputy to the SVP of Safety and Security to execute strategic initiatives
• Cultivate relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders to secure funding and resources
• Coordinate with the public relations team on external communications regarding safety matters
• Oversee the selection process and manage relationships with outsourced security providers
• Collaborate with the International Olympic Committee and US Olympic and Paralympic Committee to incorporate best practices

Requirements

• 10 years of experience managing safety and security for large, complex organizations or large-scale events
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to lead comprehensive security programs for high-profile organizations
• Experience working in multi-functional event organizations and fast-paced environments
• Ability to work onsite in a Downtown Los Angeles-based office

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of general stadium operations
• Experience with strategic planning, budget management, and project management
• Successful track record of creating innovative security approaches
