About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and lead HOOPP’s enterprise strategy for member and employer growth aligned to strategic priorities
- Identify and prioritize target segments, market opportunities, and growth pathways such as new employers and mergers
- Design strategies to increase participation of prospective members within existing employers, including part-time and underrepresented groups
- Partner with Business Development to enable new employer acquisition and with Member & Employer Services to advance growth within the existing base
- Define the enterprise approach to engagement with employer executives, unions, and key stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance, data-driven, and collaborative culture
- Monitor growth performance and provide insights on outcomes, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Finance, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the pension industry or healthcare human resources
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role
- Proven success in developing and executing strategies within the pension sector
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve common organizational goals
