Senior Director, Operations Quality

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of quality engineers and professionals responsible for quality assurance across a network of ODM partner manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and deploy quality policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure customer requirements and regulatory standards are met.
• Collaborate with product engineering, management, and operations teams to address voice of customer (VOC) issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce the cost of poor quality (CoPQ), including scrap, rework, and warranty costs.
• Manage NPI launch readiness, ensuring manufacturing operations meet milestones such as PFMEA, control plans, and official release to production.
• Drive quality upstream into the product development process through Design for Manufacturability (DfX) initiatives.
• Establish standardization across manufacturing facilities, including common processes, metrics, and best practice sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline; an advanced university degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain manufacturing and operations quality.
• Significant background in manufacturing, product, and process quality.
• Experience with PC Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).
• Lean Six Sigma credentials and experience operating in a lean production system (TPS or equivalent).
• Proven experience in transformational program management, including changing processes, systems, or organizational culture.
• Experience developing and leading a comprehensive Quality Management program.
• Strong executive influence and communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
