Senior Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to university leadership, providing oversight of payroll, employee benefits, and HR operations.
• Partner with the Vice President of Business & Finance on annual insurance renewals and benefits strategy.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Supervise payroll and human resources staff to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Ensure institutional compliance with federal and state employment laws, including COBRA and FMLA.
• Manage and monitor the Human Resources departmental budget.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leadership regarding trends and recommendations.
• Serve as Chair of the Staff Affairs Committee.

Requirements

• An openly committed Christian who demonstrates a Spirit-filled life and is an active attendee of an Assemblies of God church.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or 5+ years of professional HR experience in lieu of a degree).
• Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits administration, payroll systems, and employment law compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
