Senior Director of Fatherhood Initiatives

Responsibilities

• Oversee CBO contracts under the Fatherhood Initiative portfolio
• Provide direct supervision to staff engaged in contract management and monitoring
• Review site visit reports, budgets, and programmatic documents
• Coordinate contract development with PACE, Fiscal, and other DYCD departments
• Monitor CBO program design and work scope to ensure alignment with programmatic goals
• Provide technical expertise for contract negotiations and targeted assistance to underperforming contractors
• Analyze longitudinal performance of contractors and provide periodic progress reports
• Represent DYCD at public meetings, conferences, and community events
• Facilitate routine meetings with CBO providers to introduce resources and linkages

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in social services, business, or a large governmental agency
• Minimum of one year of experience at the administrative or managerial level
• Ability to conduct on-site programmatic and administrative visits to CBOs

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, public administration, psychology, sociology, or related field
• Valid New York State Registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW)
• Experience with web-based program management systems
