Senior Director of Annual Giving

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and long-range planning to increase the annual giving program.
• Develop and implement multifaceted communication and solicitation strategies including email, direct mail, phone, and social media.
• Determine annual giving goals and build tactical plans to achieve them.
• Enhance and manage the University's annual Day of Giving efforts.
• Collaborate with Athletics, Student Groups, Alumni Engagement, and Deans to build effective solicitation schedules.
• Partner with Advancement Communications to execute comprehensive communication programs.
• Manage annual giving staff, including student workers and interns, by communicating clear goals and priorities.
• Represent Institutional Advancement at University events such as Commencement and Hawktober.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRM (customer relationship management) databases.
• Proven track record in fundraising or development leadership.
