Senior Director of ACS Software and Solutions Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and execution of AI solutions within ACS, from architecture through delivery at scale
• Lead engineering, QA, and DevOps organizations to drive alignment and delivery excellence
• Drive on-prem capabilities to ensure solutions are performant, scalable, and differentiated on HP devices
• Deliver architecture and engineering execution for solutions spanning on-device and cloud services
• Partner with Product, Hardware, Security, and Privacy teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions
• Translate business and product needs into clear technical priorities, roadmaps, and feature delivery plans
• Manage budget planning, investment estimates, and future funding needs for the solutions portfolio
• Coach, develop, and retain top engineering talent while fostering HP leadership behaviors

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering leadership experience (Director or Senior Director level)
• Proven expertise in AI/ML software development
• Strong on-device AI expertise, specifically delivering AI in constrained or edge environments
• Working knowledge of cloud-based AI services and hybrid architectures
• Experience leading and shipping enterprise solutions at scale
• Demonstrated success operating within large, matrixed, global organizations
• Ability to balance deep technical credibility with strong business and commercial acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in the software industry
• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering organizations
• Prior hands-on experience as a software architect, engineer, or technical lead
• Exposure to hardware environments
• Experience at large-scale technology companies involving devices, platforms, or SaaS
