Senior Director of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for the U.S. subsidiary
• Deliver comprehensive IFRS reporting packages to Korean HQ, including US GAAP reconciliations
• Act as primary liaison for external auditors for statutory audits
• Oversee CapEx management, including AUC tracking, depreciation, and impairment testing
• Support tax planning and monitor intercompany transfer-pricing agreements
• Design and monitor the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework
• Direct liquidity planning and rolling cash-flow forecasts
• Manage relationships with U.S. and Korean banking institutions
• Oversee end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows and ERP optimization
• Serve as a strategic link between U.S. accounting and Korean Headquarters
• Lead and develop a high-performing multi-functional accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification required
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience including senior leadership
• Strong expertise in IFRS and US GAAP
• Deep experience in revenue recognition and contract-related accounting
• Proven experience in multinational environments with HQ collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 background
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Treasury or cash management experience
• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology industry
• Experience in tax or working closely with tax functions
• Familiarity with international tax and regulatory environments
