Senior Director, Indirect Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks across all indirect and corporate spend categories.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and competitive bidding to evaluate vendors on cost, quality, risk, and strategic fit.
• Negotiate and execute IP license agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and capital equipment contracts.
• Own the end-to-end procure-to-pay process via Zip and NetSuite.
• Drive year-over-year cost reduction through renegotiation, consolidation, and volume leverage.
• Manage semiconductor IP core licenses, engineering consulting firms, and lab hardware procurement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations to align procurement timelines to project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience in IP/software licensing, engineering services, or hardware/capital equipment
• Background in semiconductor, AI hardware, or high-tech electronics
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and royalty structures
• Experience with international vendor relationships and import/export compliance
• Proficiency with procurement and ERP tools, specifically NetSuite and Zip

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM certifications
• Familiarity with EDA toolchains and IP licensing structures
