About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior HR leader across the LabCo portfolio, partnering with companies from ProtoCo through NewCo (up to Series B)
  • Lead and develop a team of HR Managers and Junior HR Business Partners, providing coaching and guidance
  • Drive strategic HR delivery across performance management, employee relations, manager effectiveness, and culture initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support workforce planning and ensure organizational builds align with company growth trajectories
  • Own organizational design and business alignment, advising leadership on structure and role clarity as companies scale
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to execute programmatic HR initiatives tailored for high-growth, early-stage environments
  • Leverage people analytics to provide data-driven insights regarding performance, retention, and engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in the HR field, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Proven experience in the Pharma or Biopharma industry
  • Extensive experience in start-up environments
  • Expertise in organizational design and change management
  • Strong background in employee relations management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience coaching and counseling all levels of staff on performance management and employment law
  • Ability to translate business vision into an executable people agenda
  • Knowledge of organizational development (OD) concepts, including team effectiveness and leadership development
  • Experience working and communicating effectively within a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
