Senior Director, Hematology & Oncology Publications Management

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the publication strategy for the Oncology and Hematologic Oncology portfolios, ensuring alignment with asset life cycle stages and corporate objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of Medical Publication Plans, including clinical manuscripts, abstracts, and scientific meeting presentations.
• Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
• Partner closely with franchise partners, Medical Directors, company scientists, and study investigators to integrate publication strategies with broader priorities.
• Manage external agency partners and publication vendors, including budget oversight, SOW management, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure full adherence to established compliance, regulatory, and ethical standards, including GPP, TOV, and ICMJE guidelines.

Requirements

• Doctorate level education (PharmD, PhD, or MD).
• 12+ years of experience in medical communications or publications management.
• Proven experience leading at least three cross-functional publication teams to develop and implement therapeutic area-specific publication plans.
• Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-asset publication portfolios, ideally within Oncology or Hematology.
• Extensive experience managing external agency partners and vendors, including budget and performance management.
• Deep knowledge of GPP, TOV, and ICMJE standards.
