Senior Director Global Patient Engagement, Advocacy & Excellence Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a global patient engagement roadmap that aligns with corporate goals and expands the company's patient-centric culture.
• Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with international patient organizations, advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders.
• Integrate patient perspectives and experience data into drug development, study design, and launch plans.
• Establish a harmonized framework for collecting, documenting, and disseminating patient insights across the product lifecycle.
• Develop global training curricula, SOPs, and toolkits to standardize patient engagement practices and ensure compliance.
• Define KPIs and metrics to measure the impact and quality of patient engagement activities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global patient engagement team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, or a related field (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in patient engagement or advocacy within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven success in scaling global patient engagement or advocacy programs.
• Demonstrated experience in people leadership, including coaching and developing talent.
• Experience collaborating with oncology-focused patient organizations and advocacy groups.
• Ability to travel globally up to 40% for international meetings and congresses.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or additional degree in health policy, bioethics, or social sciences.
• Experience navigating resource-constrained environments.
• Familiarity with digital engagement platforms, social listening tools, and data analytics.
