Senior Director, FP&A and Business Planning

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of the annual operating plan and long-range plan.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to Group and Business Unit CFOs and the executive team.
• Direct monthly and quarterly reforecasting and synthesize drivers and variances.
• Integrate market analysis into forecasts and scenario plans to inform commercial decision-making.
• Oversee investment business cases, ROI analysis, and capital deployment recommendations.
• Provide financial leadership on M&A, partnerships, and integrations.
• Own business unit management reporting suites, including dashboards and performance packages.
• Define and evolve enterprise and business-unit KPIs.
• Champion continuous improvement across planning systems and data architecture.
• Build, lead, and develop a diverse FP&A and Business Planning team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Proven experience leading teams and enterprise planning processes.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience with financial planning software (e.g., Workiva, OneStream) and large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
• Deep understanding of IFRS and financial statements.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA certification.
• Prior experience within a Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences company.
• Experience in a publicly listed environment (e.g., ASX/NASDAQ).
