About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for university partnership initiatives with K-12 schools to strengthen the postsecondary pipeline.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to expand college awareness and cultivate district partnerships, specifically maximizing the Ohio College Credit Plus (CCP) Program.
  • Lead the design and implementation of curricular pathways for local schools that align with workforce and industry needs.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and assessment of pre-college initiatives, such as the Take Flight Academy.
  • Build and sustain relationships with superintendents, counselors, curriculum directors, and community-based organizations.
  • Manage and supervise professional and student staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment growth, partnership development, and program success.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in educational administration, business administration, public policy, higher education, student affairs, curriculum development, or a related field with at least six (6) years of progressively responsible experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least seven (7) years of experience.
  • Proven experience in K-12 education, college access, outreach, enrollment management, or student affairs.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic education initiatives and program implementation from concept to completion.
  • Strong ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve program outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a record of building collaborative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in higher education or large-scale community initiatives.
  • Familiarity with state education policy.
  • Experience in curriculum development.
  • Background in grant writing and securing external funding.
