Senior Director, Finance Domain Expert

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to integrate Finance Applications into Anaplan’s go-to-market motion.
• Create and deliver executive-level sales plays, ROI insights, and customer stories to empower internal teams and partners.
• Influence long-term product and GTM strategy by synthesizing market trends and feedback from the Office of the CFO.
• Serve as a functional expert, guiding customers on best practices for transforming their financial planning and analysis capabilities.
• Support late-stage sales opportunities by providing executive-level credibility and strategic guidance.
• Conduct executive discovery workshops to identify strategic needs and align them with Anaplan’s Finance Applications.
• Act as a thought leader and evangelist at industry events, engaging with C-level executives through high-impact content.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in corporate finance (FP&A), strategic finance, or a related field in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience leading or advising on major finance transformation projects for large enterprises.
• Deep domain knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Experience in C-level consultative selling or strategic advisory roles, ideally within consulting or enterprise SaaS.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops for executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of the Anaplan platform and its application to complex business challenges.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA designation.
