Senior Director, Federal Drug Pricing Policy

Responsibilities

• Drive US pricing policy strategy and enterprise positioning in response to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and evolving federal policy landscapes.
• Direct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess pricing reform impacts and inform senior leadership decision-making.
• Lead end-to-end analytical readiness and project management for the Medicare price negotiation process, including CMS manufacturer submissions.
• Develop advocacy materials to defend against Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing in public programs.
• Advance strategies to articulate and demonstrate the value of medicines using clinical, economic, and real-world evidence.
• Collaborate with Public Affairs and internal stakeholders to establish strategic policy positions and ensure cohesive external messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, public policy, or related sectors, OR a Master's degree with 12+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex policy and economic data.
• Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple high-profile, complex workstreams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for distilling complex topics for executive audiences.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and strong overall business communication skills.
• Ability to travel to Foster City approximately 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, MPP, MA, or MBA.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment.
