Senior Director, Events

Responsibilities

• Lead Sportico's overall live events strategy, business development, and long-term growth
• Oversee planning and execution of a portfolio of flagship events and bespoke gatherings
• Partner with sales to create and sell high-value sponsorship opportunities
• Collaborate with the newsroom to ensure programming reflects editorial excellence
• Develop innovative strategies to boost ticket sales and attendee engagement
• Work with marketing to maximize audience growth and event visibility
• Travel frequently to oversee major events and develop new business opportunities

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience leading conferences, live events, or media events
• Demonstrated success growing event businesses through sponsorships and ticket sales
• Proven ability to build and monetize premium B2B conferences
• Experience recruiting high-profile speakers and industry leaders
• Strong understanding of the global sports industry and its executive ecosystem
