Senior Director, Developer Experience and AI Experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Experience (AIX), Developer Experience (DevEx), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) disciplines to increase productivity across the Service Business Teams.
• Own the AIX strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities to embed AI capabilities into existing SaaS tools like Salesforce, Slack, and Atlassian.
• Champion the deployment of AWS Bedrock-backed tools and agentic AI workflows for both technical and non-technical staff.
• Drive a listening-first DevEx approach to identify and eliminate friction in feedback loops, flow state, and cognitive load.
• Establish and maintain observability strategies, SLOs/SLAs, and production resilience through chaos engineering and incident management.
• Define and report on key performance metrics using frameworks such as SPACE, DORA, and DXI to translate technical impact into business value.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technology leadership experience with at least 5+ years in people management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, or Amazon Bedrock Agents).
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving AI adoption at scale within large, global organizations.
• Familiarity with the DORA AI Capabilities Model.
• Background in ad-tech, high-throughput systems, or real-time data pipelines.
• Experience influencing platform engineering roadmaps as a key stakeholder.
