Senior Director – Defined Contribution Consultant & Project Delivery Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor on defined contribution plan design, governance, compliance, and administration
• Lead large, complex client engagements, including vendor strategy, fee benchmarking, and RFPs
• Lead coordination across national teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of DC projects
• Plan and deploy resources across a national delivery model to optimize utilization and effectiveness
• Build and manage high-performing, leveraged teams to support complex project delivery
• Establish and apply delivery standards, tools, and playbooks to drive consistency and efficiency
• Oversee project governance, including scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Anticipate and resolve project risks and escalations

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in defined contribution consulting, including plan design, compliance, and administration
• Deep knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), and applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., IRC, ERISA)
• Proven experience leading large client relationships and delivery teams
• Strong leadership skills across both consulting and operational environments
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and collaborate across teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant professional certifications (e.g., ASPPA, CEBS) are a plus
