Senior Director, Data Science & AI

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide AI, Data Science, and Generative AI strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead AI transformation programs spanning predictive analytics, NLP, Knowledge Graphs, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation.
• Build and scale AI Centers of Excellence, governance frameworks, MLOps practices, and AI operating models.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases.
• Oversee design and deployment of AI-powered products, platforms, and enterprise solutions across cloud environments.
• Lead cross-functional teams of Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Architects, and Product Leaders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex technical concepts into executive-level recommendations.
• Support business development, including RFP responses and AI strategy workshops.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, AI, Data Engineering, or Digital Transformation.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale AI and analytics organizations.
• Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and MLOps.
• Strong cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI practices, innovation labs, or enterprise Data Science organizations.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Databricks, Snowflake, MLflow, LangChain, and vector databases.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and AI-related business development initiatives.
