About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct strategy execution, architecture, and end-to-end "build/run" operations for enterprise security platforms to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Design and lead next-generation defense projects focusing on automation, artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, cloud, and data security.
- Act as the primary liaison to the venture capital community and global design partners to integrate cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies.
- Collaborate with the digital C-suite (CIO, CDO, CTO) to embed security principles into global digital initiatives.
- Attract, mentor, and retain a world-class team of security engineers and architects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of recent experience in senior technical leadership roles within cybersecurity (e.g., Deputy CISO, Security CTO).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, global security engineering and operations.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Deep expertise in the practical application of AI in cybersecurity and modern data protection frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Established network within the venture capital and cybersecurity vendor ecosystem.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business narratives for executive audiences.
