Senior Director, CTIO Engineering Technologists

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highly skilled subject matter experts in developing next-generation large-scale AI systems, including accelerated compute, AI fabrics, and AI-optimized storage and software stacks.
• Develop long-term technology and product strategies by analyzing the industry and competitive environment.
• Conduct technology investigations and strategic analyses of industry capabilities to influence product architecture and definitions.
• Evaluate potential acquisitions and vendor partner opportunities to maintain product leadership.
• Collaborate with design teams, systems engineering, marketing, and business unit executives to ensure technical strategies align with business requirements.
• Drive internal and external alignment of technology strategies and identify differentiation opportunities.

Requirements

• 18 years of overall professional experience.
• 5 years of experience leading and directing strategic and operational objectives within an organization.
• Deep expertise in HPC (high-performance compute) clusters, AI compute, AI Datacenters, and AI storage.
• Proven track record of delivering complex AI solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in developing long-term technology strategies based on technical and business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as a PhD or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
