Senior Director, Clinical Programs

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of evidence generation strategies for clinical programs in collaboration with R&D, Commercial, and Regulatory teams
• Lead and oversee clinical research projects utilizing internal data and manage a team of clinical program managers
• Identify and establish strategic collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Oversee the development, review, and submission of scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and posters
• Act as a subject matter expert for rare diseases and genomic diagnostics for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide medical support for FDA and other regulatory submissions
• Lead and mentor clinical program managers through coaching and career development support

Requirements

• PhD or MD (or equivalent)
• Board certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory or industry role as a board certified ABMGG fellow
• 5+ years of experience in a medical affairs or clinical development role
• 5+ years of experience leading research efforts related to molecular diagnostics in rare disease
• Strong clinical genetics knowledge in rare disease
• Strong publication record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and databases
