Senior Director APAC Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision for the Operations organization in Asia Pacific, ensuring alignment with regional and global business leaders.
• Set high-level performance expectations and drive the achievement of operational results that support organizational goals.
• Lead manufacturing operations, including championing HSE&S compliance, managing cost control, and optimizing operational performance.
• Advance the implementation of world-class processes such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Develop regional talent through workforce planning, succession planning, and targeted coaching.
• Manage assets effectively to enhance operational reliability and ensure seamless integration between business units and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Polymer Science.
• 20+ years of professional experience, including 15+ years in leadership roles within chemical manufacturing at multinational companies.
• Proven experience working within complex matrix organizations.
• Extensive exposure to Asia Pacific and global operations.
• Demonstrated success in operations, delivery, cost control, and talent development.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% (domestic and international).

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to act as a peer advisor to business and HQ leadership.
