Senior Digital Strategist: CRM/WhatsApp Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of CRM and direct-to-consumer strategy for client brands across continental Africa
• Develop and execute advanced CRM strategies leveraging owned platforms and WhatsApp
• Design personalized customer journeys and innovative conversational marketing programs
• Drive strategies powered by first-party data collection and advanced audience planning
• Partner with media partners and capability teams to ensure seamless CRM integration
• Present complex CRM, data, and communication flows to senior-level clients
• Conduct workshops to optimize CRM, loyalty, and conversational marketing strategies
• Utilize data analytics to optimize performance and define measurement and attribution solutions
• Guide creative teams to ensure assets and conversational copy are optimized for D2C platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of strategy experience in a digital agency, CRM agency, or brand-side role
• Deep specialization in CRM strategies, loyalty programs, and WhatsApp Business Platform/APIs
• Experience with first-party data strategies and audience segmentation
• Proven track record working with top-tier brands and senior stakeholders
• Experience delivering integrated marketing solutions alongside creative and media teams
• Proficiency with quantitative performance metrics and CRM analytics
