Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced DSP algorithms for space applications, covering system architecture, algorithm exploration, and trade studies.
• Prototype algorithms in MATLAB and determine necessary precision and dynamic range.
• Validate algorithms using hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit-true modeling.
• Implement algorithms in hardware using FPGA or ASIC (Verilog or VHDL).
• Support the full design lifecycle including design reviews, implementation, lab verification, and delivery.
• Mentor and provide technical oversight to DSP Engineers and implementation teams.
• Communicate technical designs clearly to the internal team and customers.

Requirements

• BSEE with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Thorough knowledge of DSP concepts, including RF Comms, Synchronization, and high-speed ADC/DAC systems.
• Proven experience in algorithm prototyping and hardware implementation (FPGA/ASIC).
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSEE degree.
• Experience with Image Processing, Software Defined Radio (SDR), or Radar.
• Knowledge of Channelization/Reconstruction, Array processing, or AI Engines.
• Active TS security clearance.
