Senior Digital Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale digital initiatives across UX, content, engineering, and platform implementation
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, balancing priorities and maintaining steady delivery
• Serve as the primary client point of contact and strategic partner
• Translate business goals and requirements into structured plans, roadmaps, and decision frameworks
• Partner with technical leads to interpret requirements and ensure technical work is executed smoothly
• Manage CMS-focused builds including Drupal and WordPress configuration and content migration
• Oversee QA processes including test plans, acceptance criteria, and issue triage
• Facilitate internal and client meetings such as sprint planning, kickoffs, and reviews
• Support resource planning and assist in contractor or specialist recruitment
• Maintain project documentation across Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace
• Contribute to pre-sales efforts by supporting proposals, scopes, and schedules

Requirements

• 7+ years managing digital projects in an agency or similarly-paced environment
• Strong technical understanding of web platforms, CMS architectures, APIs, and development workflows
• Hands-on experience managing Drupal or WordPress builds and migrations
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams including UX, engineering, strategy, QA, and content
• Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify technical complexity
• Experience coordinating resources and assembling effective project teams
• Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public-sector or large enterprise modernization projects
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Exposure to discovery methods, information architecture, and content strategy
• Understanding of engineering principles or development concepts
• Experience with SaaS platforms or multi-system ecosystems
• Agile/Scrum or other project management certifications
