Senior Digital Innovation Engineer - Data Science

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML/DL and Generative AI solutions
• Lead the development of LLM-based applications, including chatbots and agentic workflows
• Architect scalable cloud-based AI solutions using Azure services
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate real-world problems into actionable AI solutions
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and governance of AI systems in production
• Contribute to best practices in ML engineering, GenAI architecture, and MLOps
• Mentor junior data scientists and influence technical architecture and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles
• Proven experience designing, training, and deploying ML/DL models into production
• Proficiency in the Python-based ML ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based ML workflows, preferably on Microsoft Azure
• Demonstrated success managing the end-to-end ML lifecycle from ingestion to monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative field
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic architectures
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps, including CI/CD for ML and model observability
• Experience in specialty chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial analytics
• Background in Chemical Engineering
