Senior Digital Innovation Engineer - Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of chemical engineers in the Center of Innovation to monitor customer facilities globally using advanced digital tools.
• Detect, diagnose, and respond in real time to system anomalies to optimize performance remotely.
• Assist with device management, installation, commissioning, and user acceptance testing.
• Partner with sales and service stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient system management.
• Support the innovation of new digital offering solutions and Proof of Concept (POC) projects.
• Manage team operations, including hiring, training, motivating talent, and reporting key performance metrics.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process industries such as water, pulp and paper, or chemical manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience in remote monitoring, alarm triaging, and technical troubleshooting.
• Proven experience leading and managing remote monitoring or data analysis teams.
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Aptitude for learning and implementing new digital tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing Industrial IoT products for the process industry.
• Background in providing on-field technical support within the water treatment industry.
• Experience collaborating with global leadership teams and external partners.
