Senior Digital Engineer (Frontend)

Responsibilities

• Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Contribute to and develop UI experiences for our unified technology platform
• Lead code and design reviews for both new and existing projects
• Coach and mentor other Front-End Developers within the unit
• Manage individual workload and the work of direct reports across multiple projects
• Oversee code optimization, refactoring, and bug fixing throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 12+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Extensive experience with JavaScript and related technologies (e.g., Redux, SCSS)
• Experience working with GIS technologies and Esri/ArcGIS libraries
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented design and security management
• Experience with cloud technologies and caching techniques
• Ability to create and manage NPM packages
• Experience with integration testing
• Experience contributing to application architecture (micro frontends, design patterns, scaling, and automation)
